By Plane

From the G.Galilei regional airport to Pisa:


Outside the Pisa G. Galilei airport there are several buses that reach the Central Station of Florence, Santa Maria Novella (S.M.N) in about an hour and a half without intermediate stops. You can purchase the ticket directly outside the airport in the appropriate Ticket Offices.


From Pisa G. Galilei Airport you can reach Pisa Centrale station via the Pisa Mover electric train in 7 minutes, where you can take the direct train or bus to Florence Central Station, Santa Maria Novella (S.M.N.)



From A.Vespucci Airport to Florence:


A shuttle connects the airport to the Central Station of Florence, Santa Maria Novella (S. M: N.) alternatively it is possible to take a taxi to Via della Scala 6, – journey time: approximately 20 minutes or via the new line Tramway T2 towards Careggi (Stazione Alamanni / Santa Maria Novella stop) which you can take at the airport exit.

The journey takes approximately 30 minutes by tramway.

By Train

From the Central Station of Santa Maria Novella (S.M.N.) in Florence


The Hotel Palazzo dal Borgo is 5 minutes away on foot. Get off the train and, leaving the tracks behind, take the station exit on the right. At the bottom of the stairs, follow the first street on the left and then the first on the right, Via Santa Caterina da Siena and you will find Via della Scala on the left.

By Car

The Hotel is easily reachable from the A1 motorway:



Coming from the South: Firenze Impruneta exit

Coming from the North: Firenze Nord exit


In both cases, continue along the ring road and city center avenues, avoiding the preferential lanes.


Follow the signs for Santa Maria Novella Station. Once you arrive in Piazza della Stazione, leave it on your left, turn right into Via S. Caterina da Siena, and then left into Via della Scala. The hotel is located after 100 meters on the left side (Via della Scala n.6) 




IMPORTANT: the historic center of Florence is controlled by telematic doors. If you have a reservation in our Hotel it is still possible to pass through to reach us, kindly giving us your license plate number upon arrival.
