By Plane
From the airport G. Galilei to Pisa:
The station is a few meters from the airport, take the direct train or the bus to the central station of Florence, Santa Maria Novella (S.M.N.)
From the A.Vespucci airport to Florence:
A shuttle connects the airport to the central station of Florence, Santa Maria Novella; alternatively you can take a taxi to Via della Scala 6, - Journey time: about 20 minutes or via the new Tramway line T2 towards Alamanni stazione/Unità which requires taking the airport exit.
By Train
From the central station of Santa Maria Novella (S.M.N.) to Florence, the Palazzo dal Borgo hotel is 5 minutes away on foot. Get off the train and take the station exit on the right. At the bottom of the stairs, follow the first street on the left and then the first on the right, and you'll find yourself in front of Via della Scala. The Hotel Palazzo dal Borgo is on the left 100 meters before Piazza Santa Maria Novella
By Car
The hotel is easy to reach from A1 highway:
* coming from the north exit Firenze Nord
* coming from the south exit Firenze Impruneta
In either case
follow directions for the city, you will arrive at “Piazzale di Porta al Prato”, follow directions for the central railway station “S. Maria Novella”; when you have the station on your left, turn right into “Via S. Caterina da Siena”, at the end of the street at the traffic light turn left into “Via della Scala”.
You will find us after 200 metres on the left hand side.
IMPORTANT: Florence’s historical center is a limited traffic zone (ZTL) and controlled by systems that automatically record the registration plates of the cars passing through them. If you have a reservation you will be allowed to enter the ZTL, but you must inform the staff about the access upon arrival and an instruction will be given.
